Mrs. Peraza here! 
 
I am Edmondson's Elementary Student Support Specialist. I am here to support students for all their behavioral and emotional needs. Together, we work together to learn about our feelings: what they are, how they come out of us, and how we can manage them when they get too strong to handle. 
 
Soy el especialista en apoyo estudiantil de la escuela primaria de Edmondson. Estoy aquí para apoyar a los estudiantes en todas sus necesidades emocionales y de comportamiento. Juntos, trabajamos juntos para aprender acerca de nuestros sentimientos: qué son, cómo podemos manejarlos cuando se vuelven demasiado fuertes para manejarlos.

When we are faced with something difficult, we often like to see it as something we cannot do and we give up. However, having a growth mindset means not giving up but trying harder and practicing until we succeed. This is why the power of yet is so important to remember. Not being able to do something now does not mean we will never be able to.
