I want to begin by thanking you for all of your hard work
and all that we achieved together as a team last school year. I look forward to
another year filled with much growth and rise in student achievement. I am
confident that I can count on your support in continuing to raise the level of
academic performance at Edmondson Elementary.
Sincerely,
Mr. Muñiz
Principal
First Day of School
The first day of school is September 9th. It is a minimum day. Students will be released at 1 p.m. Our first flag assembly is Friday, September 17th at 8 a.m. sharp! On the outdoor stage. All community members and parents are welcome. Flag salute assemblies will be every Friday.
Back to School Night
Come meet your child’s teacher, and get important information such as homework and grading policy. Our Back to School Night will be held Tuesday, September 21st at 5 p.m.
Join us adjacent to the outdoor stage as we introduce our staff and then release everyone to visit our classrooms.
Interested in fingerprinting your child as a safety precaution? If so, visit the fingerprinting table that will be set up near the stage. Assemblyman Tony Mendoza was gracious enough to get the city of Norwalk to have volunteer staff on hand to help parents get their children fingerprinted as an added safety measure and peace of mind.
We have received the endorsement from Assembly Member Tony Mendoza from the 56th District to apply for the Barona Education Grant in the amount of $5000 to be used to support our Dual Immersion program with the purchase of books for each classroom.
